TouchKeys products are produced and sold by TouchKeys Instruments Ltd. (company no. 9558566), based in London, UK.
Shipping: For products marked In Stock, shipping will be within 7 working days of payment. For pre-orders, please check the shop for estimated shipping dates. Shipments will be sent by a tracked and signed service wherever it is available, and a tracking number will be sent to you upon despatch.
Taxes and Duties: All TouchKeys products are shipped from the UK. Our prices include 20% VAT within the EU. Outside of the EU, VAT is not charged, but you are responsible for any customs duties and taxes upon the product’s arrival to your country.
Warranty: For DIY kits and prebuilt keyboards, we will repair or replace any defective components in the first 6 months after receipt of the package. Unofficially, we will do our best to continue to support the kits after that, as we want you to have an instrument you’ll use for a long time to come, but we cannot promise indefinite free support. Beyond the 6 month warranty, please contact us if you want to purchase spare or replacement parts.
For prebuilt instruments, the manufacturer’s warranty from Doepfer or Novation no longer applies as the instrument has been modified. Instead, we will provide warranties on these keyboards, as well as the TouchKeys sensors, for the period of 6 months.
Returns: DIY kits can be returned within 2 months of receipt, provided the kit is in original condition and has not been installed on a keyboard. We will give you a full refund, but you cover the cost of shipping it back to us. Please let us know in advance if you intend to return the kit so we can watch for it, and please allow 4 weeks for the refund to be issued. After installation, we cannot accept returns of DIY kits, but we will support the kit and provide repairs subject to warranty terms above. Prebuilt keyboards are built to order, and we order new Novation and Doepfer keyboards to build each one. We can accept returns within 3 weeks, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Liability: The installation instructions are provided as a guide, and many people have successfully installed based on these instructions. We are happy to answer questions before or during installation. However, TouchKeys Instruments Ltd. cannot assume responsibility for anything that happens to your keyboard (or any other damage/injury) as a result of TouchKeys installation. Keep in mind that opening your keyboard may void its manufacturer’s warranty.
